In 舍费尔 理论 typo-morphology is the 起始 相位 of the programme of 音乐 研究 which regroups as complementary the two procedures of 类型学 and 形态学 these actually constitute a stage of exploring assessing and 描述 声音 whereas the two procedures of 分析 and 合成 arise from an 分析 and an exploitation of the 音乐 capacities of the 声音 对象 Thus typo-morphology is a descriptive inventory which precedes 音乐 活动

The three tasks of typo-morphology are 识别 分类法 description

* 辨认 声音 对象 that is isolating them cutting them into 声音 units

* Then classifying them into 基础 characteristic 种类

* Finally 描述 their 特征 in 细节
